In keeping with the theme for Alumni weekend of Education, Politics, and Social Impact, the Chicago Women's Alliance is pleased to offer a panel and discussion of what it means to be (or not to be) a feminist in 2017. The panel will feature:

  • Professor Adom Getachew, Neubauer Family Assistant Professor of Political Science and the College
  • Alumna and CWA L.A. Metro Chair Kristin Maschka, AB '91, AM '93; and
  • Alumna and Arts Alumni Network President Em Hall, AB '01.
Join us for a lively conversation providing a historical perspective on feminism and regarding the implications of modern feminism on our education and politics, as well as what types of social impact and influence we may have and experience as a nation, in our states, and even in our own local spheres.
