CWA Los Angeles: Holiday Volunteer Event & Mixer
Volunteering & Fun at Baby2Baby in LA
Let’s make the holidays fun by getting together and giving back to our community this season! The Los Angeles-based charity organization Baby2Baby supports low-income children, and takes groups of volunteers to sort clothes and donated goods in two-hour sessions. It is active, light work that is also extremely satisfying (with no heavy lifting). Baby2Baby is located in the mid-Wilshire neighborhood, at 6435 Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles. There will be an optional self-host dinner and drinks event afterwards for those who want to unwind after our efforts. (We will choose a venue that is a short walk from the volunteering location.)
Please RSVP if interested, as there is a maximum cap of 25 attendees for this event due to their capacity based on space limitations at Baby2Baby. Also, participants are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy that is appropriate for children ages 0-12, as they will be collecting goodies for the holidays at this time (please note that this is optional).
This year, Baby2Baby is set to serve 150,000 children in LA, and volunteers are key to making that possible. For more info on this charity, please go to baby2baby.org.
